Lord Hanuman is one of the most worshipped God in Hinduism as he is considered to be the god of power and strength. Hanuman Ji Ki Aarti is a devotional reading, generally chanted by the devotee as the finishing step of worship (puja). Also known as Anjaneya and Bajrang Bali, Lord Hanuman is worshipped by a massive number of devotee all over the world mainly in India.

Chanting Hanuman Chalisa, Hanuman Mantra and Hanuman Aarti on daily basis is considered to give strength, concentration, wealth and prosperity.

Hanuman is said to be able to assume any form at will, wield rocks, move mountains, dart through the air, seize the clouds and rival Garuda in swiftness of flight. He is worshipped as a deity with magical powers and the ability to defeat evil spirits. The word Hanuman is derived from two Sanskrit words ‘Hanu’ and ‘Man’. While the word ‘Hanu’ means jaw, ‘Man’ means disfigured. Hanuman was called so because he had a disfigured jaw right from his childhood.

Hanuman ji aarti like chalisa has such divine power that removes any kind problem or any thing you are scared. It gives a peace by chanting it. In aarti the Ram ji’s task done by hanuman ji are described.

Hanuman Aarti meaning in English

Sing the aarti of Lord Hanuman, the destroyer of all that is wicked,
an exalted hero in Sri Ram’s sportive play on earth.
His massive power makes even mountains shake.
Neither sickness nor impurities can come close to his devotees.
This son of Mother Anjani is immensely powerful.
He always provides help and protection to the good.
Lord Ram entrusted brave Hanuman with the task of finding Sita,
for which he jumped to Lanka and burnt the capital.
The impregnable fort of Lanka and the deep moat
of the surrounding sea could not hamper his progress.
He succeeded in bringing news of Sita.
He burned Lanka, slayed the demons,
and completed the work of Lord Ram and Mother Sita.
When Lakshman was lying unconscious,
Hanuman went quickly for the life-saving sanjivana herb.
Bringing it by early morning, he saved Lakshman’s life.
[Ahiravan kidnapped Lord Ram and Lakshman
and took them to the nether world.]
Hanuman went quickly to the realm of death
and tore apart Ahiravana’s arms.
Hanuman’s mighty arms are ever engaged in protecting
the good and slaying the demons.
